The reason I've not been on the site for 30 days is all your fault: I've met someone through Encounters. Since September 25, 2007, Tricia — who registered with you as Tiffanysdream — have been seeing each other. And, I have to admit, seeing each other extremely seriously!

Strange thing is, both being 49/50 and fairly intelligent people, we had both previously viewed internet dating with a cynical eye. Well I have to tell you, we now have both reviewed our thoughts. To say we've we've both been hit by a bolt of lightning is no exaggeration. We both acknowledge with bewilderment that, despite living within 11 miles of each other, without Encounters our paths would not have crossed. Now they are set to be entwined for good. There are many ... many plans afoot!

We both know we'll have a happy story to confirm with in due course, but until then, please don't cut either off us off becaue we want to be able to give you the good news as soon as it happens. Can't say any more than that: otherwise I'll get shot!

I hope this happy, happy little email explains my (our) lack of log-ons to Encounters. Take praise though in the fact you have another very, very successful story on your hands! Wonderful. Truly wonderful.
