In the temporary absence of my photo on the site, I was completely taken aback to receive some lovely messages from people who identified with everything I wrote in my 'narrative' part of the profile. To say I 'clicked' with one of those people is a massive understatement!! I feel hugely lucky to have found her and find it quite scary to think we would never have met if I hadn't joined Encounters on the spur of that particular moment, as I did. She had logged onto the site the very next day with the initial intention of terminating her subscription but found herself sending a message to me instead! With the best will in the world, I hope I won't be back......it really is that special. 'Thank you' Encounters - although that barely covers what I am feeling right now!
